From Malaga Airport
We recommend using the toll road route – from the airport to the apartment this should take about 45 minutes to an hour dependant on traffic (and how fast you drive!)
Directions assume you are hiring a car ON airport (eg:Hertz/Avis/Eurocar), if you are hiring a car OFF airport (eg: Easycar) directions start at the 0.5km checkpoint – look for the San Miguel brewery for bearings, it is opposite the off airport car rental companies
Set trip on car to zero – kilometre checkpoints detailed below.
We have cross checked the kilometre points several times and each time they vary by about 0.2km, dependant on the accuracy of the car’s kilometre - so be flexible – it’s Spain!
0.0k - Exit car park and at top of ramp turn left
Follow signs to E15/N340 Malaga/Cadiz
0.7km - At roundabout straight over, with San Miguel brewery on right
CARE!! Keep in right hand lane and follow road (bears right) to join dual carriageway, following signs to N340 Cadiz
3.3km - Keep in right hand lane and follow signs (bearing sharp right) to Benalmadena/Algeciras (BMW dealership will be on your right) to join the motorway
9.4km - Pass Arroya de la Miel service station (petrol/toilets/cafeteria)
17.9km - Take left hand lane to join E15/A7 toll road (Peaje) to Marbella/Algeciras
Toll road signs contain a Red circle with a line through the centre with “toll” written on.
32.8km - Toll Booth – three options Manuales/Tarjetas/T
• Manuales – cash lane, pay toll person €3.50
• Tarjetas – if no money use this lane and pay with credit card at machine – NOT Switch
• T lane – for cars with transponders only - ignore!
Go through Calahonda tunnel
Go through Santa Maria tunnel
42.6km - Pass Altos de Marbella service station (petrol/toilets/cafeteria)
47km - Pass La Canada on right – big shopping mall with Alcampo hypermarket If you want to get off here for shopping stay hard right and follow signs to Ojen/Marbella Parque Commercial
52km - At signs for Estepona/Algeciras main road splits quickly, keep far left to join the next stage of the toll road (peaje) signed Estepona/Algeciras
Go through Rio Verde tunnel
Go through La Quinta tunnel
60km - At end of La Quinta tunnel keep right and take Exit 172 for San Pedro Alcantara/Ronda
61km - Exit motorway onto A376 – warning: sharp bend right
Toll – system as detailed above, toll is €1.35
Follow road and at bottom of slight hill take EXTREME CARE joining main road
Proceed to roundabout and go all way round as if turning back on yourself and take left hand lane up hill towards Ronda, passing under the motorway
Pass sign on right for Ronda, 49km
Pass Monte Halcones development on right. This has an Open court supermarket and Bank so you can stop for any food supplies, beer, nappies etc
Pass big sign for Ronda, 44km
64.6km - Turn left into Los Arqueros – look for flags and a wall like an archers tower (‘cos that’s what Los Arqueros means!!) Remember take the right hand lane into Los Arqueros!!!
Pass Security building on right then continue to follow road all way round passed the sales office on your right and up the hill to the roundabout. Follow signs now for club house. After a number of turns, you will pass the club house on your left hand side. Follow the road to the bottom where you will come to a large roundabout. Take 2nd exit next to Los Arqueros sign.
Continue up the road until the fork, take right hand fork. Follow road round passed building work until you reach completed white apartment blocks on your right. You will see the “los eucaliptos” sign on the side of fencing. Look for block 10 and turn right down towards underground carpark, block 10 carpark is left and the bottom of the ramp.
Park in space labelled B10-6. In order to gain access to the apartment go through the exit door 10 opposite car parking space and take lift to 2nd floor, we are apartment 6.
If you are not parking underground, please use the spaces infront of the apartment block. To gain access use “gate” key and go down steps to front of apartment.
